Print to Public Pluto Printers on macOS (Students)


Once you have a pluto printer installed on your Mac, you can follow the instructions below to properly authenticate to the printer the first time you print to it.


  1. Open the document you wish to print and click print
  2. Select the printer you would like to print to and click print
  3. Click on the printer icon that appears in the dock.

  4. Click on the refresh icon next to the print job.

  5. You may be automatically prompted to enter your username and password. In the "Name:" field, enter your NetID (ex. ab1cd). In the password field, enter your network password. Check the box beside ´╗┐Remember this password in my keychain´╗┐. 


You will need to repeat this process of entering your credentials the first time you print to any of the printers or after you change your network passphrase. If you have any problems, please contact the Help Desk
