Learn About Wireless Printing at UR

While the University Network does not support personal wireless printers, there are public printers available on campus for faculty, staff, and students to print to.  For students who wish to print to a University printer, please read the University's printing policy. Students who have purchased wireless printers to use in their apartments/dorms, will need to use a printer cable to connect to the printer.

Details / Instructions

For students to be able to print to a public printer on campus, they must have print credits available. All students are provided with print credits at the start of the semester based on the Student Printing Policy. If a student runs out of print credits during the semester, additional credits may be purchased with your SpiderCard by visiting the Technology Learning Center (TLC). The TLC is located in Boatwright Library, Room 212. Email tlc@richmond.edu or call (804) 123-1234 for additional information.

All users that wish to print to a public printer on campus must be connected to the network to connect to a UR public printer. Please follow the instructions below to set up your computer for printing to a UR public printer.
