Konica-Minolta Printer Missing Staple Functionality (Windows)

Overview

If staple functionality is missing from a Konica-Minolta printer it can be enabled by following these directions.

Details / Instructions

1) Open Printers & Scanners. 

2) Select the affected printer and click "Manage".

3) Click "Printer Properties". 

4) Confirm that "Staple: No" is displayed underneath "Features". 

5) Click the "Configure" tab at the top. 

6) Click the "Dynamic Mode" button at the top right.  

7) Click "Yes" to accept UAC Prompt to make changes if prompted. 

7) Select "Port" on the right side

8) Select the printer hostname on the right side.

9) Select the correct Konica-Minolta printer model on the left side.

10) Click "OK"

11) Click " Apply

12) Confirm that "Staple: Yes" now appears under the "General" tab and close all open windows.
