How to Set Email Forwarding (Students, Adjunct Faculty, Retirees, Alumni)

Overview

Email forwarding is available for students, adjunct faculty, retirees and alumni to forward their @richmond.edu emails to a personal email address.

Please be aware of the following important details:

  • Forwarded email is sent directly to the forwarding address. Forwarded email cannot be tracked, restored, or resent by Information Services. 
  • When email forwarding is activated all new incoming email will be forwarded, current email in your UR mailbox will not be affected. 
  • When email forwarding is stopped all new email will arrive directly to your UR Mailbox, prior forwarded email will not be affected.

Details / Instructions

Students & Adjunct Faculty

Students can set email forwarding on their accounts through the Network Account Management site: 

  1. Navigate to https://webpass.richmond.edu
  2. Login with your NetID and Network Password. 
  3. Authenticate with Duo Mobile (if prompted).
  4. Click button for Email Forwarding. 
  5. Enter the address for your email to be forwarded to and save the changes. 

*This above steps will also work to remove email forwarding.

Retirees & Alumni 

Retirees & Alumni can contact the help desk to request email forwarding through self-service, email (helpdesk@richmond.edu) or phone (804-287-6400).
