In Windows 10, you can create different types of shortcuts, including Start Tiles, Desktop shortcuts, or shortcuts on the task bar.
- Pin to Start menu (Create Tiles): Locate the program that you want to Pin to the Start menu, right click the program and select Pin to Start.
- Pin to Task bar: Locate the program that you want to pin to the task bar, right click the program and select Pin to Task bar.
- Desktop Shortcuts: Locate the program that you want to create a shortcut on the desktop. Right click the program and select More. Select Open File Location. When the file location opens, right click the program shortcut, select Send To and choose Desktop (create shortcut).

- Right click a blank area on the Desktop
- Select View
- Uncheck Auto Arrange Icons

My Default Printer keeps changing by itself. How can I stop that from happening?
Windows 10 has a default setting that will automatically change your default printer based on the last printer that you printed to. To prevent this from happening, follow the steps below:
- Click on your Start button.
- Select Settings.
- Choose Devices.
- Make sure Printers & Scanners is selected from the menu on the left hand side.
- At the bottom of this window, turn off the setting for Let Windows Manage my default printer.
Once you have this setting turned off, your default printer will no longer change automatically.
