Overview
macOS Tahoe, Apple's newest operating system and twenty-second major release of macOS, was released September 15, 2025. macOS Tahoe includes the addition of a redesigned UI, improvements to Continuity and Spotlight and the Journal app. For a detailed list of changes, visit https://www.apple.com/os/macos/.
Support Status
macOS Tahoe is currently not yet supported on University and student Macs. Information Services is in the process of verifying that the new operating system is compatible with UR networks and supported software.
