How to reset a forgotten or expired password.
Instructions for Faculty, Staff and Students.
Details / Instructions
- Visit https://webpass.richmond.edu.
- Click "Forgot Password?".

- Enter your NETID and Birthday (please note: your NET ID and University ID are different). On mobile devices it may be easier to click the Calendar icon in the "Birthdate" field then tap the Year (see below) in the top left-corner to choose your Birthdate. Click "Submit" when done.

- Authenticate with Duo Mobile by choosing "push code".

- Accept the push code approval request from Duo Mobile on your smart phone or tablet. If you are not setup in Duo Mobile please use the directions here to set it up: https://spidertechnet.richmond.edu/TDClient/1955/Portal/Requests/ServiceOfferingDet?ID=443 or the following directions to reactivate Duo Mobile if it is not working or you have a different smart phone or tablet: https://spidertechnet.richmond.edu/TDClient/1955/Portal/Requests/ServiceOfferingDet?ID=444
- Choose a new password meeting the password requirements (16-30 characters, uppercase/lowercase letters and numbers, special characters may include any of the following: a-z, A-Z, 0-9, and [ ] + * @ ! ? = ~ #

- Check the box at the bottom indicating you have read / agree to the policies.
- Click "Change"
