Overview
Information Services is required to uninstall Java from all Faculty and Staff Windows computers, unless it is needed for a specific software such as SAS, This page will allow you to run the Java uninstall program and uninstall All versions of Java from University owned Windows computers.
Details / Instructions
Step 1
Download the uninstall tool located here: Java uninstall tool
Step 2
Run the uninstall tool and select Yes to the Windows prompt. Select I agree to the terms.
Step 3
Select All versions of Java and click next
Step 4
Select No to saving the cache
Step 5
Select Close to the Uninstall window. If the uninstall has any errors, Please call the University of Richmond Helpdesk at 804-287-6400 or email us at helpdesk@richmond.edu.
