Overview
The instructions below cover the steps on how to clear the cache/cookies for your web browser. This is occasionally necessary to do in order to resolve an issue with a website or online service.
Instructions
Google Chrome
- On your computer, open Google Chrome
- At the top right, click the More button, and then choose Clear browsing data... (it might show up as Delete browsing data... for some users)
- At the top, choose a time range. We recommend selecting All time
- Check the boxes next to "Browsing history," "Cookies and other site data" and "Cached images and files"
- Click Clear Data
Safari
- On your computer, launch Safari
- In the menu bar at the top of your screen, choose Safari
- Select Preferences (if you are on Ventura or later, it would be Settings)
- Choose Privacy
- Click on the button for Manage Website Data
- Click on Remove All
Mozilla Firefox
- On your computer, open Firefox
- Click the menu button (3 lines on top right hand corner) and select Settings
- Select Privacy & Security on left hand side.
- Scroll down until you see Cookies and Site Data and choose Manage Data...
- Select Remove All and then hit Save Changes.
Microsoft Edge
- On your computer, launch Microsoft Edge
- Select Settings in the top right hand corner and navigate to Settings > Privacy, Search, and Services
- Under Clear browsing data, select Choose what to clear
- Choose a time range from the Time range drop-down menu. We recommend All Time
- Check Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files
- Select Clear now
