Service Overview
Software updates for University Macs and PCs are managed through the Help Desk. Operating System updates and upgrades for both Windows and macOS are tested prior to being made available to install to avoid compatibility issues or bugs. Windows updates are managed by Microsoft's Endpoint Manager and updates for macOS are managed by Jamf Pro.
The Help Desk can also assist with updating operating systems on personal devices for faculty, staff, and students.
