User Management

Service Overview

Application owners of academic servers and/or HPC clusters as well as faculty users on shared systems can request updates for user management on their systems.  The most common need is for adding accounts for students in a course, research students, or external collaborators.  Other requests are often for adjusting group membership for users and/or retiring accounts for users no longer needing access. 

Even for adding users, requestors should include to which group(s) the new users should be added. 

Available To

Faculty and staff application owners of academic servers and HPC clusters.  If you are a student or external collaborator with a UR faculty or staff member, the UR collaborator should submit the request.
