SSO Integration Request

Service Overview

Many web-based applications, whether hosted at the University data center (on premise) or hosted by a third party (SaaS / Software as a Service) support single sign on authentication allowing UR faculty, staff, students, and alumni to use their University NetID and password to authenticate.

SSO simplifies the login experience for users of the application, eliminates the need to remember multiple passwords, and can streamline the account provisioning (creation/removal) process.

Both the SAML and CAS authentication protocols are supported by the University, although SAML is preferred for SaaS integrations.

If SSO is being requested for a new application please do not submit this form. Instead, please submit an IS Project Request and the SSO integration will be setup as part of that process.
