Account Extension Request

Service Overview

Individuals that are leaving the University can request temporary extensions of their network accounts. 

Faculty and Staff

Faculty and Staff can request a temporary extension of a network account for up to 90 days. Requests for account extensions will be routed to the individuals VP or Dean for approval.


Students can request an extension, up to one year, of their University account privileges for several reasons (to conduct research with UR faculty after graduation, to temporarily withdraw from the University, to continue access after completion of 8 academic terms without graduating, etc.).  Requests for student account extensions will be routed to the appropriate residential college dean for review and approval.
