ROADS - Access to Existing Reports

Service Overview

ROADS access is managed by assigning a user’s URID to an active directory group.  These groups are maintained by ROADS Administrators.   Faculty and staff access to ROADS must be approved by respective University data stewards (listed below) based on the data access requested and this access is reviewed annually by the data stewards.

Available To

 All Staff and Faculty are candidates for ROADS reporting. However the approval will be determined by need and data steward approval.

Getting Started

Discuss with your supervisor what ROADS access you need.  There are currently several reporting domains available depending upon the needs of your position:

  • a.       HR Data
  • b.      Finance - Budget Data
  • c.       Finance - Accounting Data
  • d.      Registration Data
  • e.       Admission Data
  • f.    Enterprise - 2 more or more of the above areas.

Once you determine  the reporting area(s) to which you need access, please email the data steward for each respective data domain.   If there are specific reports that you need to access or a specific co-worker’s access that need to emulate, please relay this information to the data steward(s).  

The data steward will then submit the ROADS Access Request form with the information you provided giving permission to access the requested reports and your account will be created within one business day of approval.

Once your account is created and access has been given to the requested reports, both you and the data steward will receive a confirmation email from the ROADS administrator.
