Windows 10/11: Printer shows "offline" but is available for others

Overview

In some cases your printer may appear "offline" but others are able to print to it. This can be resolved by disabling the "SNMP Status Enabled" setting. 

Details / Instructions

  1. Open Windows Settings > Devices and Printers.
  2. Select Printer and Scanners.
  3. Select your Printer > Manage.
  4. Select Printer Properties
  5. Tap Change Properties
  6. Tap the Ports tab
  7. Select the Configure Port button on the bottom right.
  8. Uncheck the SNMP Status Enabled box.
  9. Select OK, and then Close.
