Network Account Extension requests

Overview

Account extensions for Faculty, Staff and Students after their account would normally expire. 

Details / Instructions

A request has to be submitted in SpiderTechNet on the Account Extension Form

  • Requester selects if they are faculty/staff or student/alumni.
    • If “Student/Alumni”, they will select which college they belong to: Law, SPCS, MBA, Westhampton, Richmond.
  • Requester will be required to enter a preferred contact number or email address, requested extension end date, and also will be required to fill out the description with a reason why the extension is being requested

The requester can follow the request by logging into SpiderTechNet and selecting My Tickets in the Quick Links selections. Selecting the ticket number,  they can follow the approval progress of their request. 

Requester will receive one of three responses:

  • Account Extension Rejected
  • Account Extension Approved and Added
  • Account Extension Approved, Password Reset Needed

Rejections can be followed up with the approver.
