Overview
Recently Duo Mobile updated its servers and certifications requiring users to be running app version 4.85 or higher. Users who have not updated their app may have issues authenticating using the Duo Mobile App. This update affects both iPhone and Android devices.

Details / Instructions
- iPhone
- Identify Duo Mobile app version
- Navigate to Settings > General > iPhone Storage, tap the specific app, and look for the version number under the app name
- Update Duo Mobile app if version is not 4.85 or higher
- Navigate to the App Store, tap your profile icon, find the "Manage apps & device" or account section, locate the app with available updates, and tap the "Update" button next to it
- Verify Duo Mobile app is the latest version
- Repeat instructions from step 1
- Android
- Identify Duo Mobile app version
- Navigate to Settings >App, select the specific app, and scroll to the bottom of the info page
- Update Duo Mobile app if version is not 4.85 or higher
- Navigate to the Google Play Store, tap your profile icon, select "Manage apps & device", locate the app, and tap the "Update" button next to it
- Verify Duo Mobile app is the latest version
- Repeat instructions from step 1
