Managing Goals From Profile

Overview

This guide shows you how to quickly find and view your performance goals by navigating from your personal Workday profile. Once goals and feedback are submitted, you can manage your performance goals using the instructions provided here.

Goals that are input into Performance are still routed to your manager for approval, but are not considered active goals in the Performance Cycle workflow.

  1. On the Workday homepage, select your worker profile icon in the upper right corner and then select View Profile.
    • NOTE: Your photo will display in place of the profile icon.
  2. On the left menu panel under your profile picture, click on ‘Performance’.
  3. Once you’ve selected Performance, you can view all your goals from this screen.
  4. To add a new goal, click on the ‘Create Goal’ button at the top of the page. Follow the instructions in the Setting Goals in Workday TDX article.
    • To create a draft, click ‘Save for Later’. The drafted goals do not get sent to your manager; they remain on your Goals home page and allow you to make edits at any point.
      • NOTE: A task Manage Goals: [your name] will be created in your inbox for when you need to edit or submit your goals from drafts.
  5. Review your entered goals. Click submit at the bottom of the page and goals will be sent to your manager for approval and/or edits.
