- In the Workday homepage search bar, type in Create New Spend Authorizations then select the Create New Spend Authorization task.
- Enter Spend Authorization Information.
- Company: Select company (e.g., UR University of Richmond).
- Start Date: Enter start date.
- End Date: Enter end date.
- Description: Provide a brief description.
- Business Purpose: Select business purpose.
- Spend Authorization Total: Enter total amount.
- Currency: Select currency (e.g., USD).
- Reimbursement Payment Type: Select payment type (e.g., Check).
- Justification: Provide justification for the spend authorization.
- Spend Authorization Lines: Add specific spend authorization lines.
- Attachments : Upload supporting documents.
- Submit Spend Authorization: Review all fields for accuracy and click "Submit".
