This guide provides detailed instructions for changing or enrolling in retirement contributions.

There are two steps to changing benefit elections: the first step initiates the process, and the second step enables you to update your benefit elections.

Viewing Retirement Contributions

The best place to view your employer's contributions to your retirement plan is through your payslip. Here’s how you can access that information:

  1. Log into Workday and click the Menu on the top left.
  2. Select Pay from the options.
  3. You can then view or print a copy of your payslip.
  4. Look for the Employer Paid Benefits section, where you’ll find the details of your retirement contributions.

 

Initiate Retirement Contribution Change

  1. In the Workday homepage search bar, type in Change Benefits and select Change Benefits task.
  2. Select Change Reason and choose Retirement Contributions – Enroll In or Make Changes.
  3. On the Change Benefits screen, enter an Effective Date for the change.
  4. Click Submit.
  5. Upon clicking submit, a pop-up notification will appear, guiding you to the next step. You can either click Open or locate the notification in your inbox.

 

Change Retirement Contributions

  1. Select Let’s Get Started.
  2. To make changes to your retirement contributions, click Manage under the Retirement section. If you are enrolling for the first time, click Enroll.
  3. Review the retirement benefit plans available and choose Select or Waive.
  4. Click Confirm and Continue.
  5. If selecting a plan, enter a Contribution (%) in the Contribute section.
  6. Click SaveNOTE: Your changes have been updated, but not submitted.
  7. Click on Review and Sign to submit your changes.
  8. Review the Summary of your benefits.
  9. Review the agreement in the Electronic Signature section, and check the I Accept box.
  10. Click on Submit.
  11. Your benefit election changes will be processed. As an option, you can view your benefits statement. Otherwise, click Done.

 

Cancelling the Process

  1. On the Workday home page in the Awaiting Your Action section, select the Benefit Change task.
  2. Click on the settings cog and select Cancel.
  3. Scroll down and add your reason for cancellation under Enter Your comment.
  4. Click Submit
