Overview
As of June 30, 2020 we will no longer be supporting Sophos Antivirus. This is instructions to uninstall Sophos from a Windows computer.
Details / Instructions
1. In Control Panel, open Programs And Features.
2. Sort by Name. Scroll down the installed applications list for the Sophos applications.
3. Uninstall in this order:Sophos System Protection, Sophos Remote Management System, Sophos Endpoint Defense, Sophos Autoupdate and Sophos Anti-virus. Highlight each item and click on Uninstall. Continue uninstalling and work your way up the list until the Sophos Anti-virus is the last one to uninstall. You may or may not see all of the items in your list.
If you are unable to install all or parts of the Sophos installations, you can use this utility to remove any remaining parts. Download and run the UninstallSophos.bat file.
4. After all of the Sophos applications are uninstalled, restart your computer to complete the process.
