Installation
While macOS Tahoe is supported for both University and student Macs, we suggest updating to the latest version of macOS, if possible.
We suggest caution when upgrading to a new OS. Prior to upgrading, we recommend that you have a backup that you can restore your computer to if the upgrade fails. In addition, you should allow at least 45-60 minutes for the upgrade to complete, and do not restart the computer while the upgrade is installing, even if it appears to be frozen.
