Computer Purchasing with Grant,Chair, or any type of University Funds

Overview

If you have received funding for technology equipment purchases, Information Services can assist you in the process of selecting the right equipment, taking into account your specific needs.

Details / Instructions

We recommend that the selection of the product, and final purchase process, is coordinated through the IS Procurement Office. This ensures you will get the best available pricing on the highest quality product, with proper warranty coverage, and that the asset is ultimately tagged properly.

For grant purchases and procedures, please also refer to the grants accounting Web page.

Generally, computers purchased through these programs are considered secondary computers (one time funding with no funds for continued replacement) and will fall under the secondary computer replacement process.
