You can upgrade to macOS Sequoia via Software Update in System Preferences or General > Software Update in System Settings. System Preferences/System Settings can be found under the Apple Menu or in the Applications folder on your Mac. Alternatively, you can upgrade via the Mac App Store.
While macOS Sequoia is supported for both University and student Macs, we suggest caution when upgrading to a new OS. Prior to upgrading, we recommend that you have a backup that you can restore your computer to if the upgrade fails. In addition, you should allow at least 45-60 minutes for the upgrade to complete, and do not restart the computer while the upgrade is installing, even if it appears to be frozen.
