Overview
The file attached to this knowledge article (2025 Holidays.hol) will allow you to quickly add important dates to your Outlook Calendar.
This can be used by anyone with Microsoft Outlook on a Windows Computer .
Mac users: You can import this file into Outlook on a PC, the calendar will synchronize to your calendar in Outlook for Mac. It is not possible to import this file directly into Outlook for Mac.
Details / Instructions
1) Click the "2025 Holidays.hol" file attached to this knowledge article (bottom right corner)and download it to your Windows computer.
2) Locate the file that you saved to your computer.
3) Double-click the file 2025 Holidays.hol (Outlook may be open or closed).
4) Choose the categories you would like to import by placing a checkmark in the box next to the desired category, you may choose any combination you wish:
Categories:
2025 Traditional Holidays.
2025 Traditional Observances.
U.S. Armed Forces Observances.
University 2025 Academic Calendar.
University 2025 Observed Holidays.
University 2025 Pay Days (Bi-Weekly).
University 2025 Pay Days (Monthly).
5) Click "OK" to import the desired categories, selected categories will appear immediately in your calendar.
Please note: It is possible to import the calendar data more than once. If you import the calendar data more than once you will have duplicate entries in your calendar that can be manually removed. Please delete the file after you have imported the calendar data you'd like to have to prevent the possibility of opening it again accidentally.
