Details / Instructions

The 'eduroam' network allows roaming faculty, staff, and students from other institutions that participate in Eduroam to log on to the 'eduroam' wireless network at the University of Richmond with their school credentials.

When roaming to other institutions that participate in Eduroam, University of Richmond faculty, staff, and students can likewise log on at those institutions by authenticating with NetID@richmond.edu after selecting the 'eduroam' wireless network from the list of available connections.

Because the University of Richmond cannot ensure security for visitor devices (e.g., antivirus, posture checking, etc.), only standard network ports and protocols (e.g., HTTP, HTTPS, IPsec (VPN), IMAP) are accessible while connected via UR's 'eduroam' wireless network.
