  • HR Specialist - Perform HR transactions and basic HR functions for assigned organizations. 
  • Recruiting Coordinator - Perform recruiting functions for assigned organizations. Examples include sourcing candidates, processing candidate dispositions, and scheduling candidate interviews. 
  • Absence Partner - Perform absence management functions for assigned organizations. Examples include adjusting accruals and time off, and viewing employees on leave. 
  • Academic Faculty Partner - Perform academic faculty management functions for assigned academic units. Examples include creating and maintaining academic appointments and viewing academic faculty setup data.
  • Supervisor - Approve Time / Visibility, including Payroll / Approve Travel Expenses. All Continuing Faculty Report to Deans - so all time and travel expense approvals route to the Dean.
  • HR Action Initiator OTP-PAP - Initiate One-Time Payment and Period Activity Pay assignments (frequently assigned at top level so payments can be initiated for employees in any sup org).
  • HR Transaction Reviewer - Review/Approve HR, recruiting, absence, and academic transactions for assigned orgs. May also initiate but may not approve own transactions (Duane has built role using Manager security).
  • UR Dean-Division Head Approver - Provide approval for any HR transactions requiring dean/VP approval and when HR Transaction Reviewer initiates transaction. 
  • Academic Faculty Administrator - Unconstrained access to create and maintain all academic faculty setup data. Examples include academic units, academic calendars, and academic pay. Approval authority for academic faculty business processes.
  • Timekeeper Level 1 - Required to assist approvers by acting on timesheets with unmatched time blocks (for student employees who forget to clock in and out).
  • Timekeeper Level  2 - Facilitate time entry, submittal, and approvals by communicating with employees, managers, and payroll personnel. Monitors and reviews time entries throughout the pay period. Correct unmatched time blocks. Enters exception time (e.g., inclement weather). Enter corrections to previously entered time. Work to ensure employees and managers understand time submittal and approval processes and deadlines. Is familiar with time reporting practices and University payroll policies and processes. Review and analyze trend reports to ensure time is reported accurately and on time. Consult with the time and absence manager as needed to develop performance improvement strategies and plans.
