MestreNova is spectral data analyzing software. The installations below will install MNova and the following plugins:

  • Mnova qNMR
  • NMR
  • Reaction Monitoring

Installation Instructions

Instructions for how to install and license MestreNova (MNova) can be found below. If you are off campus, you must be connected via VPN for MNova.

Windows x64 Installation
  1. Click this link to download the zip file from Box: https://richmond.box.com/s/mzv9cye7q0hqe3i8olmk2nbydrs6a73t
    • You can choose to open or download from the top right corner of the webpage to obtain the files needed.
  2. After you open the folder, you should have 4 files listed.  One file is the installer file, and the other three files are the license files.
  3. Double click/Run the MestReNova-*.msi file and accept default installation options​​.
  4. After the installation is complete, copy the other 3 license files (*.lic) into c:\program files\mestrelab research S.L.l\mestrenova\licenses.
  5. Launch MNova > ​​​Verify green mark on far right-hand bottom.
Mac Installation
  1. Click this link to download the zip file from Box: https://richmond.box.com/s/iuay6bq3jvvn5ua41muub3n8g2gwel4s
  2. When the download is complete, open the file to Extract All
  3. Once extraction is complete, a new folder will be created with 4 files. One file is the installer and the other three files are the license files
  4. Run MestReNova-*.dmg  and accept the default installation options​​
  5. Drag MestReNova into the applications folder
  6. Go to the Applications and launch MestReNova and allow admin privilege to write to the cache folder
  7. When the application launches, the registration wizard will prompt to Install, Evaluate, or Buy
  8. Select Install, then browse to the license files where you extracted them and select Open. Repeat this step to load each license file.
  9. Exit MestReNovA
  10. Launch MNova > ​​​Verify green mark on far right-hand bottom
