LastPass Update: Auto-logoff

Body

Overview

Starting in August 2026, LastPass is strengthening auto-logoff across the LastPass browser extension and web vault.

What does this mean for you?
LastPass may ask them to log in more often than before. That’s the update working. Your vault stays protected, and reauthentication happens according to the set auto-logoff timing. See below if you would like to change your auto-logoff timing.

*** Of note, the max timing is 2 weeks, though timing may differ for users who changed their setting or have a setting applied by your organization. ***
