Overview
The following instructions are meant for users with a Windows computer whose department has recently received a Konica Minolta departmental printer that replaced a Ricoh departmental printer in the year 2026.
Mac users can install the Konica by removing the Ricoh and adding the Konica through Self Service. A link for assistance with this is listed below:

Details / Instructions
1) Download Konica printer driver to your computer from the attachments on this knowledge article
2) Click the folder to highlight it and click "Extract all" in the toolbar. You can also right-click the folder and select "Extract All"

3)Make sure "Show extracted files when complete" is checked and click the "Extract" button
4) Open Printers & Scanners in Settings
5) Select the old Ricoh printer
6) Click "Printer Properties"
7) Under the advanced tab "Select New Driver" (If the button is grayed out, under the general tab select "Change Properties" in the bottom left)
8) Click "next" in the “Welcome to the add printer driver Wizard” window
9) Select "Have disk"
10) Select "Browse"
11) Navigate to and select the folder extracted in step 2. (The folder should be in your downloads)
12) select the folder "Driver"
13) select the folder "Win_x64"
14) select the the file "KOUWNJ1_.inf"
15) select "Open"
16) select "OK"
17) select the lower file with the version number

18) select "Finish"
19) select "Apply"
20) select "OK"
21) Click the "Configure" tab at the top.
22) Click the "Dynamic Mode" button at the top right.
23) Click "Yes" to accept UAC Prompt to make changes if prompted.

24) Select "Port" on the right side
25) Select the printer hostname on the right side.
26) Select the correct Konica-Minolta printer model on the left side. The Model will be listed on the front of the physical printer

27) Click "OK"
28) Click " Apply"
29) Confirm that "Staple: Yes" now appears under the "General" tab and close all open windows.
