It supports academic, administrative, and research workflows by offering real-time conversation, contextual memory, and customizable settings. Accessing the SpiderAI Chat App
You can open the chat interface in any of the following ways:

Enter a prompt directly into the text box on the SpiderAI homepage.

Click the Full Chat App button located below the homepage prompt box.

Navigate to Apps > Chat (Powered by OpenAI) in the top navigation bar.
If you require features from SpiderAI version 1, a link to the legacy application is available on the login page.
Model Selection
Choose from an array of AI models ranging from fast, lightweight options to advanced reasoning models. The selected model determines response quality, speed, and credit usage.
Tool Integration
Enable optional tools to enhance your session, including:

Instructional Mode: See how the model works behind the scenes.

Prompt Clarification: AI asks clarifying questions to better understand request.

Context Preservation
SpiderAI maintains conversation context throughout your session, enabling multi-step reasoning and follow-up questions without restating information. Refreshing your browser or resetting the chat begins a new session. Currently, we do not maintain chat history for privacy purposes.
Reset a Chat
Use the Reset Chat option to begin a new session with a clean slate.
