Overview

The instructions below can be followed to find the MAC address for your smart device or game console.

A mac address is a physical hardware address for a network component. Each network component (wireless, bluetooth, wired connection, etc) installed in your device will have a unique mac address. 

The MAC address for your device is needed for the Help Desk to be able to manually register that device on the network

Please be sure to provide the mac address that matches your connection . For example: if you are using a wireless connection we will need the wireless network mac address.

The MAC address for the Roku can be located on the back of the player - you will see two sets of MAC addresses, one is for the Ethernet, the other is for the wireless. 

The other option for finding the MAC address is through the Roku Settings: 

  1. On the Home Screen, select Settings
  2. Select System > About
  3. The addresses will be listed on the screen.
