Overview
If you have a new smartphone or tablet, you will need to reactivate Duo on this new device before you will be able to use Duo to authenticate.
Details / Instructions
- Go to https://duo.richmond.edu and sign in with your NetID and Password.
- Click on Reactivate Device.
- Enter your eight-digit University ID Number and Birthdate. Click Reactivate Device.
- If you have more than one device enrolled, you will be prompted to select which device to reactivate. If you only have one device enrolled in Duo, it will automatically be selected for you.
- If needed, update the details of the device that you are reactivating. You can update the Name and/or Number for the device at this time. Click Reactivate Device.
- If you are using your smartphone to reactivate the device, click on the button for Activate Device.
- If you are completing the reactivation on a different device than your smart phone, open the Duo Mobile app on your smartphone and click the + at the top right corner. This will require access to your camera and you will need to scan the QR code that is displayed on the screen.
- Your device will then be successfully reactivated with Duo. In the Duo app on your phone or tablet, you will see an item for Duo-Protected University of Richmond.
