Support Status
macOS Ventura is currently supported on University and student Macs. Support is expected to last until the end of 2025.
Installation
You can upgrade to macOS Ventura via Software Update in System Preferences, located in the Apple Menu or in the Applications folder on your Mac, or the Mac App Store.
While macOS Ventura is supported for both University and student Macs, we suggest caution when upgrading to a new OS. Prior to upgrading, we recommend that you have a backup that you can restore your computer to if the upgrade fails. In addition, you should allow at least 45-60 minutes for the upgrade to complete, and do not restart the computer while the upgrade is installing, even if it appears to be frozen.
