4/01/2022 Apple Security Zero-Days: CVE-2022-22674 and CVE-2022-22675

On Thursday, 3/31/2022, Apple released software updates to address two zero-day security vulnerabilities impacting iPhone iOS, iPad OS, and macOS Monterey computers. These vulnerabilities, documented as CVE-2022-22674 and CVE-2022-22675, may allow a bad actor to gain unauthorized access to impacted devices. Apple has disclosed that there is a report of possible active exploitation.  

Information Services is working to make the security updates available to all university-managed Apple computers running Monterey as soon as possible.  Users are urged to review the information in the provided reference links and apply the security updates to their personal devices and computers as soon as possible.
