Cost: JMP is licensed for academic use for current University of Richmond faculty, staff, and students. Administrative purposes must be licensed separately. Redistribution of the software and/or licensing files is prohibited.

Available To: Current University of Richmond Faculty, Staff, and Students for University and personal computers.

Installation Instructions

JMP Pro 17

WindowsShow

Download the JMP Pro 17 Win x64.zip installer file.
Download the JMP_Pro_17_0_Win_x64.txt license file.
Navigate to the installer download, right click on the installer .zip file and select Extract All.
Select the location where you would like to extract the files and click Extract.
Navigate to the location of the extracted files and find the setup.exe file and double click it.
If prompted to allow the program to run, click Yes.
Proceed through the installation windows and keep all defaults.
Click Install.
JMP will then proceed to install. When it is finished, check the option to Create desktop shortcut. Do not select the option to check for updates at this time. Click Finish.
Launch the JMP Pro 17 program from your desktop.
If prompted to register the software, you can skip/cancel by clicking Wait to Register.
The first time you run JMP, you may be asked to provide the location of a license file. Click Help and choose Renew License. Click Open License. NOTE: If you have a previous JMP Pro installation with current licensing, the installer may automatically attach that license to your new installation.
Navigate to where the JMP_Pro_17 Windows.txt license file was downloaded (from Step 2 above). Select the file and click Open.
If prompted to personalize the license with an Administrator Name and Department, leave the fields blank and click ok.
You will be asked to save the license with a .per file type. Navigate to where you would like to save it and click Save.
You will get a notification that the license was accepted. Click OK.
JMP Pro will now be successfully installed on your computer.

Mac OSShow

Download the jmppro__1700__mac.dmg installer file.
Download the JMP_Pro_17_Mac.txt license file.
Open the JMP-Install.dmg file and double click on the JMP Pro 17.pkg file.
Proceed through the installation windows keeping all defaults.
When prompted to enter a password, enter your computer password.
Click Close to finish the installation.
Launch JMP Pro 17 from your applications folder.
You will prompted to license the software. Click Open License and navigate to the JMP_Pro_17_Mac.txt file that was downloaded in Step 2 (above).
If prompted to enter an Administrator Name and Department, leave the fields blank and click Ok.
You will get a window that says that the license has been accepted. Click Ok.
If prompted to register the software, click Wait to Register.

JMP Pro 16.1

Please uninstall any old versions of JMP before installing JMP Pro 16.1.

Download the JMP_Pro.zip installer file.
Download the JMP_Pro_16_Windows.txt license file.
Navigate to the installer download, right click on the installer .zip file and select Extract All.
Select the location where you would like to extract the files and click Extract.
Navigate to the location of the extracted files and find the setup.exe file and double click it.
If prompted to allow the program to run, click Yes.

Click Install.
